1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of eJobs, operated by eJobs Bangladesh, including our website at ejobs.com.bd and all related services. By registering or using our platform, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2 Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age
• You must be a resident of Bangladesh or seeking employment within Bangladesh
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You must not have been previously banned from our platform

3 User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to provide truthful information, keep your password secure and not share it, notify us immediately of any unauthorized use, and take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

4 Candidate Terms

As a job seeker, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in your profile and job applications
• Only apply for positions you are genuinely qualified for and interested in
• Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity to employers
• Respond to employer communications in a timely and professional manner
• Not use our platform for any purpose other than genuine job seeking

5 Employer Terms

As an employer, you agree to:

• Post only genuine, legal job opportunities with accurate descriptions
• Not discriminate based on religion, gender, ethnicity, or disability
• Comply with all applicable labor laws of Bangladesh
• Handle candidate data responsibly and not use it for unrelated purposes
• Promptly remove filled positions from the platform

6 Prohibited Conduct

• Posting fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive job listings
• Collecting user information for spam or unauthorized marketing
• Attempting to hack or gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Creating multiple accounts to bypass suspensions or restrictions
• Posting illegal, offensive, or IP-infringing content
• Using bots or scrapers without permission
• Charging fees to candidates for job applications or placements

7 Subscriptions & Payments

• Payments are processed securely through our payment gateway partners
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• All fees are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and are non-refundable unless required by law
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice

8 Intellectual Property

All content on eJobs — logo, design, software, text, and features — is owned by eJobs Bangladesh and protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission. By posting content (job listings, profiles), you grant eJobs a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it in connection with our services.

9 Disclaimers

eJobs provides a platform connecting job seekers and employers. We are not responsible for the accuracy of job listings, employment decisions made by either party, outcomes of interviews or negotiations, or third-party services linked from our platform. Our platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Bangladeshi law, eJobs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to eJobs in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms or engaging in fraudulent activity. You may delete your account anytime from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use eJobs ceases immediately.

12 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

13 Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or a website notice. Your continued use of eJobs after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
